I’m wondering if May 5th will also be when Illinois fills their vacancy on the DNC. I haven’t seen anything to this effect, but it makes sense to me as a natural time to do it. I can’t imagine they’re going to let that spot go unfilled and thus have one less vote at the convention.
As for the two national at-large DNC seats I asked Mr. Super for his opinion on when/if they will be filled and he thought they would not be filled while the nomination is in flux.
I was told last night at a Democratic Party Convention Meeting that CO is slating Pena as the Add-On from the Obama campaign. Obama has almost 70% of the State Delegates.
