Obama picks up Utah add-on; OH and MA to name 4 more today

Utah selected it’s add-on superdelegate last night: Kristi Cumming. We know that Utah Chairman Wayne Holland, an Obama supporter, had previously announced that the add-on would be an Obama supporter, and we have received confirmation from the Utah Democratic Party that Cumming will be supporting Obama.
Obama moves to within 0.5 superdelegate votes of Clinton.

According to news media reports, 2 Superdelegates from Virgin Islands, while Sen. Clinton loses 1.

Obama has picked up another member of the House of Representatives an Add-on and a DNC member. Obama is now only 1.5 superdelegate votes behind Clinton.

Clinton leads off the morning with an endorsement: Rep. Chris Carney of PA:
U.S. Rep. Chris Carney noted Friday that Democrats in his northeastern Pennsylvania district supported Clinton by a more than 2-1 margin in the April 22 primary. Carney says, “I will respect their decision.”

Sen. Clinton started us off this morning with an endorsement by Rep. Chris Carney. Then there were a bunch of endorsements for that other candidate, but Clinton is ending the day (assuming, of course, that this is it for the day!) with another endorsement from Congress: Texas Representative Ciro Rodriguez:
Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton picked up another endorsement from a Texas Democratic superdelegate for the party’s presidential primary.

He kept it a really good secret but today Ed Espinoza (aka Mr. Super) endorsed Barack Obama. We tried many times to pry the information out of him but not even kryptonite would make him tell.
Only a day after revealing his true identity Espinoza become Barack Obama’s 264th superdelegate vote by our count.
